Abstract
The purpose of this article is to try and tangential way, but why not reflective, place to dispute certain reflections and conclusions about managerial innovation strategies, as a high impact tool for successful companies, in the city of Barranquilla - Colombia, the methodology is descriptive, documentary and consultation of web pages. Based on the theories of business leadership as well as administrative skills with contributions from Robert L. Katz (1970), Robbins (1996), Ryback, (1998), and Goleman (1998). The results obtained, expressed the administrative skills to identify the capabilities or behaviors that are crucial for success in a management position and but at the same time stresses that a skill or a high level of expertise in a particular field may become negative for job success in the modern enterprise. Therefore it can be concluded that the successful use of groups whose members have different skills, background and experiences, increases the possibility of offering creative solutions. Likewise arose that you required special attention to the development of leadership skills in the upper levels of the address, because these make their influence felt across the organization.
