Abstract
The systems of linear equations in the classroom become a transversal axis with other areas of knowledge; therefore, this thesis entitled "methodological proposal for the teaching of systems of linear equations with two unknown quantities through application of accounting problems”, is aimed to support the teaching-learning process. The methodological proposal took place in the Educational Institution INEM José Félix de Restrepo of the municipality of Medellín - Antioquia, with tenth grade accountancy students. Different theoretical postures, such as: constructivism, problem solving, meaningful learning, learning for understanding, didactics and language, are part of the theoretical framework. The intervention was performed with the application of a Pre-test and a Post-test to both control and experimental groups, besides, the implementation of three learning worksheets that are the fundamental axis of the proposal, finally the execution of the pre and post-test respective analysis through a quasi-experimental method.
