Abstract
This article addresses the question of ¿what values to teach in the current school permeated by new technologies and the information society? It shows a changing world, with vertiginous technological and scientific advances; Which is engendering a humanity with anti-values that even come to challenge the sustainability of the species and are subtracting the capacity to live in society. These include the predominant culture of the light life, appearance over essence, inexhaustible pursuit of pleasure, money and power as ultimate ends of existence and excessive corruption in all areas and levels of society. Given this scenario, the article responds to the initial question by proposing that teachers and educational institutions revalue ethics, effort, importance of past and history and vision of the future as the foundation of family, school and society.
